Les barbelés

By: Annick Lefebvre (Canada)
Directed by: Luis Bizarro (Mexico)

Synopsis: As part of the public space initiative Urban Bubbles, this monologue will be presented, telling the story of a human being who realizes that barbed wire is growing inside their body—that their throat and mouth are slowly closing, making it harder to breathe. It is then that the urgent need to speak arises. To utter the final words of the final hour of their life, while there is still time. Words that have been censored for far too long, words that overflow. The choice to remain silent, too.

The One Who Fell from the Tree One Night*

By: Ana Lucía Ramírez (Mexico)
Directed by: Luis Bizarro (Chihuahua)

Synopsis: Many years ago, something happened—and the world as we knew it, divided by countries and continents, ceased to exist. A massive wall was erected: two million square kilometers, two million fenced in by concrete. Of the men and women left outside, nothing is known. Nothing is known, and nothing must be known; it is forbidden.

Within this restricted world lives a woman, Rebeca, who—defying the law—will stop at nothing to discover where she belongs, to find her place in this constrained and motionless orb.

Ana Lucía Ramírez.

Let Me Be Your Eyes*
