Two women in a room. Two women who cannot leave each other, who compete with one another. Who each want to triumph over the other. They are not together by chance—the dream of their life is considered “missing.” Both loved the same man, one as his wife, the other as his lover. Each wanted him for herself, refusing to let the other destroy her own desire. But how do you deal with someone who no longer exists?

The struggle for the truth of the past is the only thing they share. In that struggle, lies become a convenient tool. A tale of two women believing they might lose what they need to preserve their happiness.

Two women who cannot allow their dream to be destroyed, who can only exist by enduring each other.

…“The play Desaparecido playfully reveals how aggression builds between two women who never knew each other. How anger intensifies into hatred and cruelty until both recognize that the liar, the unfaithful, the disappeared man is the true enemy. A beautiful sequence—sharp, detailed, and humorous—that, with the style of a modern Commedia dell’Arte, draws the audience in and makes them enjoy the storm.”
